- Descripción:
Consta de una estructura de madera circular formada por varias capas laminadas y una membrana de piel de cabra anclada en una de sus caras mediante tachuelas sobre una tira de cuero decorativa para disimular el corte de la piel sobre el cuerpo de madera. En su interior, una barra de madera que atraviesa la estructura mantiene doble función: evitar la deformación de la forma circular del instrumento debido a la tensión que el parche ejerce sobre el marco, y como agarre del bodhran en caso de ejecutarse de pie. El diseño impreso en el parche es un guiño estético a su tradición de simbolismos celtas, con un patrón animal de nudos entrelazados.
Se complementa con una baqueta (tipper) de diseño tradicional, es decir, con ambos extremos simétricos de cabezal redondo.
